Marketing Content Writer and Editor
My responsibilities began with writing blogs, then grew to encompass the enhancement of all aspects of written marketing material, including composition, style, research, revision, and proofreading.

This is one of a handful of 15-page special reports that I researched and composed for a client.
Work products
Blogs
These began as rough transcripts of a video discussing a particular topic. My job was to clean up the transcription, editing for clarity while preserving the voice of the client. I enhanced these blogs by writing with consideration of SEO and adding links to other relevant content of the client's.
Special Reports
These 15-page reports were used as lead-generating material in this client's marketing funnel. I was responsible for conducting research on the assigned topic and composing the full-length report with a combination of repurposed and original content. I enhanced these reports by implementing a consistent written style and appropriate citations and references, which added credibility and professionalism to the client's brand.
Brand-Specific Style Guide
One of the key ways I enhanced this client's marketing efforts was by developing a brand-specific style guide. Having a consistent written style adds credibility and professionalism to any brand. These were my goals when I created their style guide document that laid out grammatical and style rules for their brand across their various marketing materials.
Transcript Proofread
These were transcriptions of phone interviews that we compiled into educational material for members. My responsibility was to clean up the transcript, editing for clarity while still retaining the speakers' personalities.
Marketing Emails
Because my client trusted my writing ability and my grasp of their key marketing messages, I was granted free license to compose intriguing marketing emails about relevant recent events. It was my responsibility to research the topic, align the piece with a key message of the client, and of course, set it all up for their primary call-to-action.
Visual Graphics
Though I am not a visual artist, I do not shy away from creating simple graphics and charts. While I have some basic experience with programs like Adobe Illustrator, Microsoft Publisher, Photoshop, an online tool like Canva is good enough for at least getting an idea started.

In this case, the client liked what I made on Canva well enough to use it in a printed program for a special event.
